Football Recap: Middleton Starts Season with Victory Against Leto + How To Watch

Middleton had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Leto Falcons 44-14. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Teagan Amos-Brooks had an outrageously good game as he threw for 198 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 passes, and also rushed for 41 yards and one score.

Amos-Brooks was just one part of a punishing run game: Middleton was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 213 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in August of 2024.

Although Leto took the loss, they still got scores from Maurice Jackson and Anyelo Davalos.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Middleton will head out to face off against Strawberry Crest at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Leto, they will venture away from home to square off against Jefferson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
