Football Recap: Middleton Starts Season with Victory on the Road + How To Watch

Middleton had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They breezed past the Leto Falcons to the tune of 44-14. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Teagan Amos-Brooks went supernova, throwing for 198 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 passes, while also rushing for 41 yards and one TD.

Amos-Brooks was just one part of a punishing run game: Middleton was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 213 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in August of 2024.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Middleton will square off against Strawberry Crest at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Leto, they are headed away from home for the first time to square off against Jefferson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
