Soccer Game Preview: Colony vs. Wasilla

Colony is preparing for their first conference matchup of the season on Tuesday. They will look to defend their home pitch against the Wasilla Warriors at 5:00 p.m. Colony is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.4 goals per game this season.

Colony is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to ten goals on Friday, they were much more limited against Service on Saturday. They fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 2-1.

Colony's goal came courtesy of Calico McIntyre, who's now up to three this season.

Meanwhile, Wasilla's game on Thursday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They had just enough and edged out Palmer 2-1. Wasilla haven't had any issues with Palmer recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Wasilla's victory bumped their record up to 2-0-1. As for Colony, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Colony was able to grind out a solid win over Wasilla in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, winning 2-0. Do the Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
