Volleyball Game Preview: Verndale Pirates vs. New York Mills Eagles + How To Watch

Verndale hasn't had much luck against New York Mills recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Pirates will head out to face off against the Eagles at 7:15 p.m. Verndale will be strutting in after a win while New York Mills will be coming in after a defeat.

Verndale took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They came out on top against Pillager by a score of 3-1.

Meanwhile, New York Mills came up short against Menahga on Saturday and fell 2-0.

New York Mills' loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Verndale, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7.

Verndale couldn't quite get it done against New York Mills in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Pirates avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
