Basketball Game Preview: Panama Razorbacks vs. Pocola Indians

Panama is 1-9 against Pocola since December of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Panama Razorbacks will host the Pocola Indians at 7:00 p.m.

Last Tuesday, Panama was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 40-35 to Spiro. The game marked the Razorbacks' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Meanwhile, Pocola put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against Heavener as Pocola made off with a 40-20 win. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 23rd, while the Wolves are ranked 300th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Panama's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-3. As for Pocola, their victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-0.
