Basketball Recap: Northwestern Comes Up Short

Northwestern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They took a 66-49 bruising from the General McLane Lancers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lancers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 67-43 back in January.

Northwestern's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for General McLane, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-15.

Coming up, Northwestern will look to defend their home court on Friday against Iroquois at 7:30 p.m. As for General McLane, they will face off against Girard at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
