Soccer Game Preview: Burges vs. Wakeland

The Burges Mustangs will face off against the Wakeland Wolverines at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Burges sitting on seven straight wins and Wakeland on 18.

Burges is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Wyatt a 1-0 shutout. Burges' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last five matchups.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Christian Quintana, who's now up to seven this season.
