Jack Britt never let their opponents score on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 17-0 margin over the Douglas Byrd Eagles. Considering the Buccaneers have won five matchups by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Katelyn Villareal made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, she posted five strikeouts, the most she's had since back in February. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.

In other batting news, Haylee Lamb was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one triple. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Ta'Niyah Turner, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2.

Jack Britt was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .722. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
