Soccer Game Preview: Nimitz vs. Pearce

The Nimitz Vikings will venture away from home to challenge the Pearce Mustangs at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Nimitz's offense. They fell 2-0 to Lake Highlands on Tuesday. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Meanwhile, Pearce sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over MacArthur on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Pearce's victory bumped their record up to 3-6-3. As for Nimitz, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5-2.
