Basketball Game Preview: Alleman Pioneers vs. Moline Maroons

Alleman hasn't had much luck against Moline recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Alleman Pioneers will be playing at home against the Moline Maroons at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

On Saturday, Alleman made easy work of Morrison and carried off a 60-38 win.

Meanwhile, Moline had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 72-57 victory over the Golden Warriors. Given the Maroons' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 24th, while the Golden Warriors are ranked 195th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Alleman's win bumped their record up to 4-18. As for Moline, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-4.
