Football Recap: Dover Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Dover extended their losing streak to six on Saturday, dropping them down to 1-6. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 14-10 heartbreaker at the hands of the St. Georges Tech Hawks. The Senators were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

As for St. Georges Tech, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 5.7 points on average over those games.

Joel Buck was the offensive standout of the contest as he rushed for 98 yards and one TD.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Dover will face off against rival Cape Henlopen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, St. Georges Tech is set to square off against their familiar foe Smyrna at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
