Baseball Game Preview: Wells Pirates vs. Centerville Bulldogs

For the second straight game, Wells will face off against Centerville. The Pirates will host the Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Wells has given up an average of 8.8 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Wells fell victim to Centerville and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 11-0. The Pirates have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

For Centerville's part, Hardy Brown was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched.
