Boston Latin waltzed into their match on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Wayland Warriors by a score of 6-3. That's two games straight that the Wolfpack have won by exactly three runs.

Haidyn Bletzer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on two hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Ava Enright, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. That home run was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Abby Rosenfield, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Boston Latin's win bumped their record up to 4-13. As for Wayland, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Looking ahead, Boston Latin will welcome Boston Latin Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wolfpack's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Dragons have averaged an impressive 7 runs per game this season. As for Wayland, they will challenge Waltham at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
