Recap: Bryant Hurricanes vs. Moss Point Tigers

The Bryant Hurricanes fought the good fight in their overtime game against the Moss Point Tigers on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 48-45. Bryant just can't catch a break and has now endured seven defeats in a row.

Quey'sean Taylor was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 14 rebounds for Moss Point. The contest was Taylor's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jujuan Nettles, who scored four points along with eight assists.

Bryant bumped their record down to 1-8 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points per game. As for Moss Point, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Bryant will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Chickasaw at 7:30 p.m. on December 14th. Moss Point will be home for the holidays to greet West Harrison at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
