Football Recap: Stuyvesant Starts Season with Win Against Midwood

Stuyvesant had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Midwood Hornets by a score of 17-8. The score was all tied up 8-8 at the break, but the Peglegs were the (much) better team in the second half.

Stuyvesant didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 35-18 victory against Lehman on the 19th. As for Midwood, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Truman at 3:00 p.m.
