Softball Recap: Mercy Takes a Loss

If Mercy was riding high fresh off their 17-1 takedown of St. Paul's Girls last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Mercy lost 11-5 to the John Carroll Patriots on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Magic in their meetings with the Patriots: they've now lost three in a row.

Mercy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for John Carroll, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Mercy will be playing in front of their home fans against Mount de Sales Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
