Softball Game Preview: Columbus Cardinals vs. Lake Mills L-Cats

The Columbus Cardinals will head out to take on the Lake Mills L-Cats at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Columbus has given up an average of 10.2 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Columbus lost 18-11 to Big Foot on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Lake Mills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Marshall.

Columbus' defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Lake Mills, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

Columbus couldn't quite finish off Lake Mills in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 and fell 5-3. Can the Cardinals avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
