Recap: Choteau Bulldogs vs. Ennis Mustangs
The Choteau Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a serious blow against Ennis, falling 63-25. While losing is never fun, Choteau can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Montana basketball rankings (they are ranked 26th, while Ennis is ranked second).
Despite the loss, Choteau still got an impressive performance from Kylie Kovatch, who scored eight points along with five rebounds.
Choteau's defeat was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-2. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 19.3 points per game. As for Ennis, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
