Basketball Recap: Gordon Lee Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Gordon Lee, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They managed a 53-48 win over the Armuchee Indians on Tuesday. The Trojans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Indians, too.

Despite the loss, Armuchee still got an impressive performance from Trenton Cothran, who went 9 for 17 on his way to 26 points and six rebounds. Will Pethel was another key player, putting up nine points.

Gordon Lee is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season. As for Armuchee, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-6.

Gordon Lee will venture away from home to take on Gordon Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Gordon Central knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight contests -- so hopefully Gordon Lee likes a good challenge. As for Armuchee, they will welcome Dade County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
