Hulbert entered their tilt with Braggs on Monday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They never let the Wildcats get on the board and left with a 13-0 victory. Considering the Riders have won seven games by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Ethan Thompson made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent : he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-2. He also put up a home run, which was his first of the season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Shane Hubbard, who scored a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in March. Dusty Tedder was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Hulbert always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .676. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Hulbert pushed their record up to 15-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.0 runs on average over those games. As for Braggs, they now have a losing record of 5-6.
