Baseball Recap: Mason County Central Comes Up Short

Mason County Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-5 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hart Pirates. That's two games in a row now that the Spartans have lost by just one run.

Mason County Central's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Hart, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-7-1.

Mason County Central didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 15-5 victory against Hesperia on the 6th. As for Hart, they have also already played their next game, an 11-2 defeat against Shelby on the 6th.
