Meanwhile, Caribou faced Fort Kent in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. Caribou blew past Fort Kent, posting a 70-29 victory. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 22 points or more this season.

The win was the fifth in a row for Caribou, bringing their record for this year to 10-1. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.6 points per game. As for Hermon, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.

Hermon ended up a good deal behind Caribou when the teams last played back in January of 2024, losing 51-35. Can Hermon avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
