Basketball Game Preview: Mt. Vernon Mountaineers vs. Crane Pirates

The Mt. Vernon Mountaineers will challenge the Crane Pirates at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Mt. Vernon saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came up short against Lighthouse Christian, falling 63-42.

Meanwhile, Crane took care of business in their home opener two weeks ago (barely). They pulled ahead with a 44-43 photo finish over Ash Grove.

Mt. Vernon strolled past Crane in their previous meeting back in December of 2022 by a score of 55-40. Does Mt. Vernon have another victory up their sleeve, or will Crane turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
