Field Kindley took a loss when they played away from home last Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Friday. They walked away with a 48-40 victory over Fort Scott. Given the Golden Tornado's advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 127th, while the Tigers are ranked 319th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Sunrise Christian Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 62-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of Chanute.

Sunrise Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 13-3. As for Field Kindley, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
