Baseball Preview: Kouts Mustangs & Fillies  vs. Oregon-Davis Bobcats        
        
		
            
 Kouts has enjoyed the comforts of home their last four games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will  take on the Oregon-Davis Bobcats at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Kouts is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9  runs per game  this season.
 Kouts' pitching crew heads into the  contest  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Friday. They came out on top against Washington Township by a score of  3-0.
  Landon Garrett made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run while striking out six over seven innings pitched. Garrett has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances. Garrett was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with a  stolen base and a  double.
 In other batting news,  Cooper Whitaker was  excellent,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances.
 Meanwhile, Oregon-Davis was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight  loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost  18-0 to Culver Academies, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.
 Kouts' victory was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 12-5-1. As for Oregon-Davis, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
 Kouts was able to grind out a solid  win over Oregon-Davis in their previous meeting  back in April of 2023, winning  7-2. Does  Kouts have another victory up their sleeve, or will Oregon-Davis turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
