Basketball Recap: Kerr-Vance Academy Takes a Loss

Kerr-Vance Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Oxford Prep Griffins and fell 63-32. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Griffins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 69-28 last Friday.

Kerr-Vance Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was LJ Siplen, who posted ten points and five rebounds. Will Stovall was another key player, putting up six points and three steals.

Kerr-Vance Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Oxford Prep, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.

Kerr-Vance Academy has already played their next game, a 59-50 victory against Northeast Academy on the 2nd. As for Oxford Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 68-61 loss against American Leadership Academy-Johnston on the 3rd.
