Milby has no trouble against Houston Math Science & Tech

The Milby Buffs can finally bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They took down Houston Math Science & Tech 66-50. The victory was just what Milby needed coming off of a 51-31 loss in their prior game.

Milby found their leader in underclassman Delani Pestaina, who scored 20 points along with four steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Pestaina has scored at least 25% of Milby's points. Another player making a difference was Kobe Brown, who scored 16 points.

Milby's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Houston Math Science & Tech, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-10.

Milby won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Anahuac at 9:00 a.m. on December 22nd. Anahuac knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven games -- so hopefully Milby likes a good challenge.
