Soccer Recap: Lighthouse Christian Falls to Pilgrim in First Game of Season

Lighthouse Christian had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against the Pilgrim Panthers on Tuesday, falling 7-1. The Saints were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2018.

The victory made it two in a row for Pilgrim and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lighthouse Christian will venture away from home to take on Beacon Hill at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pilgrim, they are taking a road trip to square off against Newbury Park Adventist at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pilgrim is facing Newbury Park Adventist at the right time seeing as Newbury Park Adventist is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
