Volleyball Recap: Page Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Page lost against Brentwood on September 10th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Patriots lost 3-0 to the Bruins. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Page was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-22, 25-12.

When it comes to explaining why Page lost, don't look at Hannah Rider. Despite the final result, she had 16 digs and one assist. Rider is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last eight games she's played.

Brentwood's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Queen Howse, who had 13 digs and two assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Lindsey Large, who had 17 assists and five digs.

Page's defeat dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Brentwood, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 22-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Page will face off against rival Independence at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Brentwood is set to challenge their familiar foe Franklin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
