Soccer Recap: Oxford Takes a Loss

Oxford entered their match against Quaboag Regional on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Pirates fell 4-2 to the Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Quaboag Regional this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 last Monday.

Oxford's loss dropped their record down to 6-5-1. As for Quaboag Regional, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Oxford will venture away from home to face off against Blackstone-Millville at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Quaboag Regional, they will square off against Bay Path RVT at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
