Basketball Game Preview: Wendover Wildcats vs. Draper APA Eagles

Having just played yesterday, the Wendover Wildcats will jump right back in to play the Draper APA Eagles at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Wendover has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the game with four straight losses, while Draper APA will come in with three straight victories.

It was a proper cat-fight when Wendover faced off against Kearns on Friday. Wendover took a 49-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Kearns.

Meanwhile, Draper APA was able to grind out a solid win over Cottonwood on Friday, taking the game 61-52.

Draper APA has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.4 points per game. As for Wendover, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.

Everything came up roses for Wendover against Draper APA in their previous meeting back in December of 2017, as the team secured a 49-13 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wendover since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
