Central Valley has gone  a perfect 3-0 against Johansen recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Wednesday. The Hawks will venture away from home to  face off against the Vikings  at 6:00  p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Central Valley has five straight  victories, Johansen has four straight  losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Central Valley will bounce into Wednesday's   game after  beating Livingston, who they had gone 0-6 against in their six prior meetings. The Hawks slipped by the Wolves  7-6 on Monday.
 Central Valley didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over.  Ayleen Apreza led the group effort, picking up two of those  interceptions all by herself.
 Meanwhile, Johansen came up short against Lathrop on Monday and fell  30-18. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 654th, while the Spartans are ranked 169th).
 Johansen's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Central Valley, their win bumped their record up to 13-7.
 Central Valley didn't have too much breathing room in their  contest against Johansen  in their previous meeting  back in September, but they still walked away with  a  6-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hawks since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
