The Ocean Springs Greyhounds will take on the Gulfport Admirals at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Ocean Springs suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Friday. They had to suffer through a rough 57-10 loss at the hands of St. Martin. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Ocean Springs has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Gulfport was beaten by Harrison Central 74-38 on Friday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Gulfport in their matchups with Harrison Central: they've now lost six in a row.
Ocean Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Gulfport, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season.
Things could have been worse for Ocean Springs, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 45-27 loss to Gulfport when the teams last played two weeks ago.
