Baseball Game Preview: Maranatha Christian Eagles vs. Francis Parker Lancers

For the second straight game, Maranatha Christian will face off against Francis Parker. The Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Lancers at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.

Maranatha Christian couldn't beat Francis Parker on Wednesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the third inning. The Eagles fell just short of the Lancers by a score of 8-7.

Maranatha Christian saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nolan Espinosa, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double. Another was Cody Baltgalvis, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one double.

Maranatha Christian's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Francis Parker, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-8-1 record.
