Volleyball Recap: Madison Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Madison can now relate to. They fell 2-0 to the Carrollton Hawks on Monday. If the Trojans were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Hawks when the teams met back in October of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Mabry Robeen was the offensive standout of the match as she had six digs and two aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last six contests.

Madison is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17. As for Carrollton, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-5-1 record this season.

Madison does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Carrollton, they have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against First Baptist Academy on the 29th.
