Soccer Recap: Lewis Mills Comes Up Short

Lewis Mills entered their contest against Farmington on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Spartans fell just short of the River Hawks by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, Lewis Mills can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut soccer rankings (they are ranked 39th, while Farmington are ranked third).

Lewis Mills' defeat dropped their record down to 6-5-1. As for Farmington, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 11-0-3.
