Volleyball Recap: West Carrollton Pirates vs. Butler Aviators
West Carrollton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Butler Aviators. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Aviators this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss back in September.
The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-5, 25-6.
Alexia Dysinger went supernova For Butler., getting nine aces and four digs. What's more, Dysinger racked up 16 assists, the most she's had over her last six matches. Gabi Holop also deserves some recognition as she had her first blocks of the season.
West Carrollton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Butler, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season.
