Basketball Recap: Bulls College Prep Falls Despite Big Games from Alanna Nance and Lea Lobaton

Bulls College Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They took a 31-22 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hancock Eagles. The matchup was a 10-10 toss-up at halftime, but the Bulls couldn't quite close it out.

Despite the loss, Bulls College Prep had strong showings from Lea Lobaton, who posted 12 points, and Alanna Nance, who had nine points. Those 12 points gave Lobaton a new career-high.

Bulls College Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Hancock, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-7.

Bulls College Prep has already played their next game, a 39-8 victory against The Noble Academy on the 15th. As for Hancock, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 33-16 win against Back of the Yards College Prep on the 14th.
