Volleyball Recap: Montgomery Comes Up Short

Montgomery lost against Madison back in February of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Montgomery Aztecs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Madison Warhawks. The Aztecs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Elonzo Enriquez paced Montgomery's offense, picking up eight kills. Enriquez got some help from Jafer Vazquez and his 14 assists.

Montgomery's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Madison, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.

Montgomery didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Liberty Charter on the 1st. As for Madison, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against El Camino on the 1st.
