Baseball Game Preview: Doyline Panthers vs. Choudrant Aggies

It was a proper cat-fight when Doyline challenged Converse on Thursday. Doyline came out on top against Converse by a score of 4-1.

Meanwhile, Choudrant owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Claiborne Christian as Choudrant made off with an 8-0 victory. That eight run margin sets a new team best for the Aggies this season.

Cash Camp made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Camp was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. That stolen base marked the first that he snagged this season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Colton Smith, who scored two runs while going 3-for-5. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Cam Bagwell was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Choudrant kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
