It was a good run, but Briarwood Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 48-35 to the Mountain Brook Spartans. The Lions were not able to make up for their defeat to the Spartans from their previous meeting back in December of 2023.

Despite the loss, Briarwood Christian still got an impressive performance from Emma Kerley, who posted ten points and five rebounds. What's more, Kerley also racked up four assists, the most she's had since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Clara Crawford, who earned eight points and five boards.

Briarwood Christian's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-10. As for Mountain Brook, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-6.

Briarwood Christian has already played their next game (against Sylacauga), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Mountain Brook does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
