Basketball Recap: Allie Dickinson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Glens Falls over Scotia-Glenville

Glens Falls was the 47-32 winner over Scotia-Glenville when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Glens Falls Black Bears fell 62-53 to the Scotia-Glenville Tartans on Tuesday. The Black Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Glens Falls' loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Allie Dickinson, who posted 19 points. The dominant performance gave Dickinson a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Sarah Wolfstich, who earned 13 points.

Glens Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Scotia-Glenville, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Glens Falls has already played their next game (against Schuylerville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Scotia-Glenville will head out on the road to face off against South Glens Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
