Football Recap: Goshen Central Falls Short of Minisink Valley in the Playoffs

Goshen Central and Minisink Valley squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Goshen Central had to settle for second. They came up short against the Warriors, falling 30-6. While losing is never fun, the Gladiators can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 68th, while the Warriors are ranked 19th).

Goshen Central's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-3. As for Minisink Valley, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-1.

As of now, neither Goshen Central nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
