Soccer Recap: Chaparral Comes Up Short

Chaparral was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Eldorado Firehawks, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, Chaparral can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nevada soccer rankings (they are ranked 61st, while Eldorado are ranked 20th).

Chaparral's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Eldorado, they pushed their record up to 10-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Chaparral will face off against rival Las Vegas at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Eldorado is set to square off against their familiar foe Rancho at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
