Gustine's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Waterford, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-3.

Looking ahead, Gustine will face off against Le Grand at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Waterford, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Delhi at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will be up against the Hawks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
