They really took it to Millard South for the full four quarters, racking up a 76-41 victory at home. That 76-41 margin sets a new team best for Creighton Prep this season.
Creighton Prep's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caleb Djoussa, who went 6 for 8 from beyond the arc en route to 20 points and 2 assists. That's the first time this season that Djoussa scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Dillon Claussen, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds.
Several Patriots players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jett Thomalla, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds. Bernie Anderson was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Millard South struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Creighton Prep pushed their record up to 6-1 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.8 points per game. As for Millard South, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
