Baseball Recap: Thomas Jefferson Takes a Loss

Thomas Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 14-4 to the Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy Tigers. That's two games in a row now that Thomas Jefferson has lost by exactly ten runs.

Thomas Jefferson saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Knox Richard, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Thomas Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-11 record this season.

Thomas Jefferson will head out to take on Archbishop Shaw at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Thomas Jefferson are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy, they will take on New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
