Baseball Recap: Frederick A. Douglass Takes a Loss

Frederick A. Douglass lost against McDonogh 35 back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Frederick A. Douglass fell 18-14 to McDonogh 35. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Frederick A. Douglass' loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-3. As for McDonogh 35, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Frederick A. Douglass will be playing in front of their home fans against New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for McDonogh 35, they will head out on the road to face off against Donaldsonville at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
