Basketball Recap: Osceola Drops Highest Score of Season Against Lakeland

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Osceola). They were the clear victor by a 70-47 margin over the Lakeland Vikings on Tuesday. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 152nd, while the Vikings are ranked 440th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Osceola's win was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points per game. As for Lakeland, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

Osceola has already played their next game (against Archie), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lakeland won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Appleton City at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
