Soccer Game Preview: Cleburne vs. Everman

Cleburne and Everman are an even 4-4 against one another since February of 2015, but likely not for long. The Cleburne Yellowjackets will host the Everman Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Cleburne is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They never let Mansfield Timberview onto the board and left with a 6-0 win on Tuesday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Yellowjackets considering their one-goal performance the contest before.

Meanwhile, Everman entered their tilt with Centennial on Tuesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was Everman who was credited with the victory. Everman got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Centennial's three.

Cleburne's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-1-2 and their overall record up to 2-4-5. As for Everman, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.
